Ben (they/them) is the biostatistician, data manager, and survey methodologist for the Mayi Kuwayu Study: The National Study of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing. They’re also President-elect of the Statistical Society of Australia and a coordinator of the Australian Data Science Network. They have a passion for R and enjoy helping people learn the language. Outside of being a data nerd, Ben likes to spend their time parenting and playing in a community samba band.
