Dr. Yukiko Ezure

Yukiko Ezure is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Queensland's School of Public Health, applying design thinking to complex problems in antimicrobial resistance and One Health. Through the SAAFE CRC and UNEP, she is a core team member on the Design Thinking Toolkit project for AMR stakeholders, facilitating workshops across the Asia-Pacific, including a 2026 Bangkok session that launched the Design Thinking Collaborative, a community of practice. Combining infectious disease epidemiology with human-centred methods, she completed a scoping review on design thinking in global health and is planning a train-the-trainer programme. Her interests centre on design thinking for complex systems problems.
