Peter Ellis is the Director of the Statistics for Development Division at the Pacific Community (SPC).
His team of around 45 helps Pacific Island national statistical offices collect, process, analyse and disseminate data for official statistics in multiple demographic, social and economic domains.
Peter is an Accredited Statistician with the Statistical Society of Australia. Previous roles include Chief Data Scientist at Nous Group, Manager Sector Performance at New Zealand Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, and Director Program Evaluation for the Australian aid program.
